Instructions
- In a small saucepan, add sweetened condensed milk, eggs, and maple syrup. Whisk until smooth and place on medium heat.
- Whisk consistently on medium heat until your mixture begins to thicken, about 7 to 10 minutes.
- Once your mixture has thickened, remove from the heat and add pecans and shredded coconut flakes. Mix until smooth before adding to cooked piecrust.
- OPTIONAL: Add some additional coconut flakes and chopped pecans to the top of the pie before refrigerating for a finished look.
- Allow to cool completely before placing in the refrigerator to set overnight.
- Pie is ready to serve once the pie is completely set.
- OPTIONAL: Top with whipped cream and chopped pecans.
