Toffee Pecan Squares

  • 1 package Pillsbury™ Moist Supreme® Classic Yellow Premium Cake Mix
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand® Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup toffee bits
  • 1 cup chopped pecans


  • HEAT oven to 350°F. Combine all base ingredients in large bowl; blend at low speed until crumbly. Press into bottom of ungreased 13 x 9-inch pan. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until light golden brown.
  • COMBINE sweetened condensed milk, vanilla and egg in same bowl; mix well. Stir in toffee bits and pecans. Pour filling evenly over warm base.
  • RETURN to oven; bake an additional 20 to 25 minutes or until filling is set. Cool 1 hour or until completely cooled. Cut into squares. Top each bar with a pecan half, if desired; sprinkle with powdered sugar. Store in refrigerator.
